That he will cast 2 billion Chinese souls into hell for not even having heard the name of Jesus, let alone actually believing in him, all through an accident of where they were born?

Is it God's will to put these poor souls in China, just to get burned?
Will God be impressed with you for thinking he can be so spiteful?
Do you think in view of the above that you don't know as much as you pretend to?
Are you prepared to open your minds, or blindly follow someone else's doctrines?

Cue vast tracts of the bible appearing very soon, from those blinded by doctrines which cannot hold water when viewed rationally with an open mind.

Ah Chavit or whatever your name was. I do believe in the phrase that:

" the only thing a wise man truly knows, is that he knows next to nothing at all".

Wolfblayde - I love God very much and I strive to become as one with him one day. I fear I have quite a ways to go yet though.

Thank you all for your posts. A good measured response and I am pleased to see the crackpot fraternity stayed away and I haven't been wished into hell.
For the record I love God with all my heart and strive to live my life as he would wish it. I fail regrettably, rather too often than I would like, but I am not perfect, only God is that. I seek only to show how those blinded by their faith can be seen to be doing evil, rather than for the common good, which is true of all mainstream religions.

Love and Light to you all.

No...this question has been asked and answered many times. God will not send souls to hell that have never heard of him and cannot know him. That's ridiculous.

God loves all people...the only ones that will be in hell are those who know him and turn from him. Those who choose to be in hell...knowing the truth and rejecting it.

Your question is based on the thought that being in China keeps you from the Truth, but it doesn't. There are many Christian missionaries in China, and a quiet Christian movement by some brave Chinese to spread the word.
We are promised that at some point in everyone's life they are approached by the Holy Spirit and have the chance to either accept or reject the love of Christ. I have heard people tell stories of encountering people who should have never been able to hear the word and yet they know God's love for them. Sometimes those people are more open to hearing about the love and grace that is given to them than people who have been raised in free countries that allow the message to spread openly.

And who are we to say God can't do whatever He wants to? Even if it isn't fair, even if it seems cruel. God said in the Bible that every man is born with the knowledge of God, so you can't say they had no chance. I don't know why you hate Christianity so much... I suppose it's related to why so many so-called "Christians" hate everyone else. I just don't understand what about it makes you so aggressive... and nobody is born anywhere by accident. God knows exactly where when and how every person will be born, and has His reasons. That may sound like stupidity to you, but if you believe in God as all-knowing and all-powerful, it's regarded as faith.

two things in regard to your question. Right now and for quite a while people of Iran have been experiencing "The Jesus Dream", and approx 16,000 people have converted to Christianity without ever talking to another christian. Jesus literally came to them in a dream. So I think that God has got a plan far greater than anyone could possibly envision. Put your faith in him, not the ones you speak of with poor Theology.
Secondly, there are missionaries working around the clock in China trying to spread the word of God and Jesus to everyone there. They are even translating the Bible into languages that have never read the text. God has no room for Doctrine or Theology, just his word. Instead of questioning the motives of God, we should use our time here to let everyone know that God loves us and he desires to have a relationship with all of us. In the end every knee will bow and I hope that everyone gets a chance to understand his teachings.
God Bless!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With at least 50,000,000 -- possibly more than 120,000,000 -- Christians in China today, I would suggest you get your figures updated. God exhorts, warns, sends His present-day disciples into virtually every nation in the world, and in those countries where they're turned back, e.g. North Korea, Saudi Arabia, there are radio, TV and websites for the people to look at and hear the word of God. That the UK church, once the evangelising powerhouse of the world, has been so feeble even in its own land today doesn't mean other countries haven't taken up the baton and sprinted with purpose to win souls for Christ. African churches are especially active at present, and are even talking of sending evangelists to the UK. PRAISE GOD! Maybe people will listen to the ardour of true believers instead of timid also-rans.
But God never said the whole would be saved: Jesus said the Gospel would be preached AS A WITNESS to all nations. He also said "strait is the gate, and narrow is the path that leads to salvation, and few there be that find it. For broad is the path and wide is the gate that leads to destruction, and many there are that find it."
Why the disparity? Because people either refuse to believe, or else are too busy trying to EARN their salvation, instead of gratefully grasping the proferred hand of the crucified, dead, resurrected Person of Christ, and trusting Him as the only way of salvation. If there were another way, then believe me Jesus would never have gone through death.

There are a lot of things in Christianity that I don't completely understand, but of this I am certain. God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that who so ever believed on Him would not perish, but would have everlasting life. I have faith in a loving God. I am sure that He loves all the poor souls in China. He loves everyone who knows Him personally and those who don't. Judgment is with Him. It is His job. I have faith in Him enough to know that He will do His job well.

That is not my vision of the Lord. During the Great Tribulation in the book of Revelation, John the Revelator tells us that God will go so far as to have an angel preach the gospel from the sky so all who hear will receive Him. These 2 billion Chinese people will hear the Word of God, the gospel of Jesus Christ preached and they will be given an opportunity to accept Jesus Christ. God is not spiteful, but merciful. No one goes to hell without hearing the name of Jesus and hearing the gospel preached.

I give thanks always to God in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Funny you should choose China as your expample.
And what makes you think people in China have not heard the name of Jesus?
I have some very exciting news for you...

Even as we speak, people in China are coming to Jesus in droves.
In spite of persecution.
In spite of difficulties.
Celebrate with these souls that have come to the light, after so long in the darkness!! Like new butterflies, they have left their cocoons behind, and are flying on the wings of hope!!
Our God is, indeed, an Awesome God!!

We all deserve Hell because of our sin natures. It's only the ones who know Christ who can possibly be saved. Because of Adam's sin, if Jesus didn't come, then, we'd all burn in Hell. Too bad for them, in China. But there are Chinese Christians. Not many though. Most people over there had never had heard of His name because there aren't enough missionaries spreading the Word to remote isolated places in the world.

Your philosophy is distorted;can you explain why Rwandan and other refugees suffer anguish to such degree? My God is a just God and I accept Him with child-like innocence.Because if He didn't do what He said He would do, then He would have no honour. But,who am I to judge Him?
My guess is that you are following the doctrines of Jehovah's witness.
Can you honestly tell us how many times you were embarassed about the Apocalypse?
