The last time that happened to me it sparked an interesting conversation that I don't think the Muslim was prepared for. My response was that either Jesus was indeed the Son of God and part of the trinity, as I believe, or the man was a raving lunitic. Saying you think Jesus was a good teacher, but not The Christ says you haven't really read the Bible. You can not say the things he said and not be either Christ or a serious scammer. People are always trying to come up with a thrid option so they don't offend one side or the other, but in truth it is either one or the other.

If you love something or at least care for it very much and someone else defames it, it's easy to become offended. Christ teaches us to love one another as a commandment second only to loving God the Father. The misguided beliefs for all Muslims is a cause for us to pray for them. Most Christians who have investigated the Qur'an have come to the understanding that Muhammad was a liar and Islam is the lie of all time. If Muslims don't come to accept Christ as the
Son of God and claim Him as their Lord and Savior, they will perish in the pit of eternal hell and that breaks God's heart. He doesn't want anyone to go there. But, that's their choice.

don't be offended by their misguided unbelief, pray for their salvation and that God will reach them before it's too late.

Christians should not get upset when a Muslim expresses their belief. Rather, this should be a time where a Christian shines the most.

The reason that some Christians get offended is because they are young in their faith. They are not to the point where they can handle the "meat" of God's Word. They are insecure. More mature Christians have no fear of what others say. But rather, use the opportunity to share what they believe.

It simply means Isa of their religion is not the Christ of the Bible. Muhammad was not a prophet of God because he did not agree with God or the prophets of God. Man's Salvation depends on the deity of Christ.

A Christian definitely would, as we regard Jesus as the messiah long foretold in the old testament, sent to be sacrificed for the sins of mankind. Whereas before, we were completely detached from God, we became reconnected.

No, there's nothing wrong with that belief at all. Different people within different religions have different views. I'm a Christian and I don't think thay Jesus is god but I do think he was either then son of God or a messenger from God.

I don't think there is any point in getting offended. Explain the difference between the belief of muslims and christians as clearly as you can and use it as an opportunity to respectfully share your faith.

No, they should be happy Muslims accept Jesus as an earlier prophet. Accepting him as the son of God takes a lot of faith.

I say to each his own. Muslims have Muhammad, Christians have Jesus. We all probably end up in the same place.
