I cannot speak for the rest of the people of the world; I can only speak for myself...
I admire Him, because I looked within myself and saw that I was incomplete. Christ has made me whole.
I admire Him because my life was riddled with doubt and fear. Christ has made me completely safe.
I admire Him because my life was filled with people who would love you conditionally. Christ loved me enough to die on the cross for me even when I didn't love Him.
I admire Him because I was not accepted by everyone. Christ accepted me just the way that I was.
I admire Him because I was not the best person in the world. Now, I am living a life that is much more pleasing to others.

People admire Jesus because he was a Master of Agape-- unconditional love.
Too bad the Churches devoted to him don't always remember this root lesson in the midst of all of their dogma, politics, fundraising, social controlling, and individual ego-tripping.
I am not a Christian, but I do admire Jesus.
It seems to me that by admiring only those people who have the power to hurt you is not going to serve you well, ultimately.

Jesus taught that people should get along and not kill each other. Also he taught what to value and it wasn't possessions and fame . How can anyone know that "he didn't get angry" I think he had all the emotions that we feel. But he may also have had better control. I haven't met anyone yet who can come as close as he had. I also think God speaks to people from others , but beware of false prophets.

Listen to the things your saying. I feel that you are making fun of Jesus and you shouldn't. He died for you remember that!and he loves you!

There are millions of people who beat up their enemies. Those that help them are pretty rare.
I don't think Jesus was God, but I admire the guy.

He did get angry and whipped the money changers. Even if the whole story is a farce he is the best example of how to be a decent human. And he left many unhelped. I am taught by his example that he loved even those who sinned against God and gives them a chance to be saved. Wow!!! I hope to obtain that level of love in my life. BTW He will judge those who commit violence on judgement day and hell sounds like being beat up to me, I would prefere a beating to hell any day.

You didn't read Matthew 23?
“Woe to you, blind guides...Fools and blind!
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’
“Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets.
Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.
