What's the longest you've ever gone without sleep?

I'm on hour 35 right now (yes, I know that's not a lot) and I'm not tired in the least. This is actually the best I've felt in a long time. I think I shall sleep after about 60 hours.

Oh, and why does it feel so good to be without sleep? It's strange... you'd think I'd be really tired, but my friends say it's almost like I'm high.

42.5 hours now, and not so tired considering I had some pop and cake. I also rested my eyes because my contacts were hurting, but I did not sleep at all. school should be fun tomorrow :p

i worked for 72 hours straight during an emergency situation in the hospital that employed me. Slept four hours and was called back to work another 24. Then I got two days off and slept straight thru them.

The body is a weird thing and sometimes it is really mind over matter. You may feel good now but eventually you will shut down and when you do it will be some very good sleep. Once you wake you should feel even better. Unless this is a work schedule I wouldn't suggest you do it all the time. It will catch up with you when you get older.

The longest I went was 49 hours. Then I slept for 12 hours. It was a good sleep.

Well, I'm a mother of three...so about four years...

Just kidding. Marine Corps boot camp wins the real record for me, it was about 4 and a half days. Thank god they took pity on us and let us get those three hours of sleep before making us run the PFT...

I've actually been able to stay up for 2 whole days.It's kind of fun.But then I end up sleeping for a whole day after I've stayed up for so long.
