To avoid sin and to be anointed kings, priests and prophets unto the Lord Jesus Christ for His coming 1000 year reign on this earth. We can also learn of the coming false messiah who is now alive and will cause all to receive a Mark which we now know as a Computer micro or Verichip that is being used in animals and wildlife and monitured by satilite. The FDA has now approved this Implant to be safe for humans as a identity marker which will hold every persons identity in order to buy or sell anything. But those receiving it shall not enter God's kingdom and those who reject it shall become criminals to the cause of world and global peace, jailed and put to death just as Hitler did to 11 million people. Do your homework. Go to trumpetmin.org and click on- "Could this be the Mark?" This is a lesson we all need to learn and apply.

Okay.
So i might believe that the Bible is fictional
but there are still lessons to be learnt.
The bible sheds light on all kinds issues in our lives and examples are set out in the new testament.
Some important ones include
"love your neighbour as you love yourself" - Jesus
and that help can be found in unexpected places (the good samaritan)
I think a key theme in the New Testament is that the world can be a harsh and unpredictable place (as we've all found with this week's events) but if you have faith, and believe (in whatever you will) then things will get better.

We can learn what love is. "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
We can learn what God is like. "Philip said, 'Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.' Jesus answered: 'Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?"
Those are just two lessons that come to my mind. Good question.

Two things: God sent his son Jesus to die for our sins so that we may be cleared of our wrongdoings and be able to have a personal relationship with him. John 3:16 says God so loves the world that he gave his only son that none should perish but have eternal life.
The other most important lesson: Jesus was asked what the most important commandments were, and he summed them up in two statements - Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And: Love your neighbor as yourself.

That there is a special place in the afterlife for Jews and other non-believers where they will be subjected to eternal torment.
Glory hallelujah, praise the lord!

Well, obviously by telling non-Christians to not reply we can rule out learning critical thinking.

There are far too many to enumerate. If I had to summarize, I would say that in spite of mankind's obvious shortcomings, God has found a way to reconcile Himself to us.

How easy it is to decieve people just by writing something down and adding 'by the way, this is all true and if you don't believe it bad things will happen'.
It's a glorified chain e-mail.
