a couple years ago, the Fed revised their standards for sentencing. No More, 2 to 10 years, a sentence no one had any clue how long it meant.
So, they did away with this, and established realiztid sentencing. Now, a tear anda day means a year in a day, although forgood reasons, such as good conduct. you might do a few days less.

There is no parole from Federal Prison, so it would be one year and one day.
Defendants sentenced for offenses committed on or after 1987 serve determinate terms under sentencing guidelines and are not eligible for parole release.

366 days. There is no parole on a federal criminal case. All federal sentences are day-for-day sentences unless the defendant is given probation.

Sounds like someone is spending time in prison on felony charges because it is over 1 year. Too bad. Shouldn't have violated the law.

One year and one day. Thats why they add the day. Federal time is the worst anyway, you almost always have to serve 80% of your time

well it depends on what jail and how serious the crime is but since it's so short it couldn't have been to bad, so 7 month is about right and maybe even 6 depending on behavior.
