I have sudden pain in my fingers only. It's not in my hand, wrist, or thumb! I have had no injuries. The pain is in my right fingers, sometimes radiating up to my elbow. I can straighten & bend all of my fingers, but aching pain to do so. Should I contact my doctor? Any ideas on what this could be? How long should I wait before I call the doctor? Please help!!

do you crack your fingers, cause that could be the problem. i would call your doctor right away, because i have no idea what is causing pain in your fingers. get it checked out before it gets worse!

That sounds painful all right!

Since this came on suddenly, you will indeed wish to contact a doctor about it. I can think of several things that might have happened, but nothing that I can be sure of- even if I were a physician.

Good luck!

if you hit yourself with something or got your fingers caught , I can see pain happening =if you are saying that you only have the pain itself starting ,by all means see a Dr =it just doesn,t make sense to hurt for no reason at all
