You sound like you are willing to pull your own answers out of the air. Do you want to know about God, our place before Him. what He did for us, and how to claim eternal life? I hate to see someone willing to cast life away because they won't listen to God. You must have a Bible around your house somewhere. But still you have never opened it. It's God's love letter to mankind. There you will see that Man rebelled against God, He told our First parents that if they disobeyed Him they would die.. That is your question 4. God then gave us rules to live by It's called the Law. We soon found out that we couldn't obey that Law because we are imperfect. God then set His Son into the world. He was a person who could obey the Law but was hung on a cross and died in our place. Then announced to us (After he was resurrected) your question 3. he promised to give life to anyone who would ask Him believing that He would give it to them. He also told us that at the end of our lives here we would go to be with Him. Your question1 and 2. He didn't leave us here without some evidence that he is there. He put evidence in nature, and in the Bible. He doesn't ask for blind faith. He doesn't ask for a lot of faith. And He promised to help the weaker believers build their faith up.. I already sent you one of the pieces of evidence from the Bible. The one that shows that the cross and the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins was known to people 900 years before it happened and was recorded in the Bible. He had that done so we would know that He is God, that He loves you, and want you to share eternal Life with Him in His Kingdom... Jim

The Bible says, It is appointed unto man to die ONCE and after this the Judgement. There are two judgements- One for the rewards and crowns given to the children of God and the other judgement is for those who have rejected Christ. Those who have rejected Christ will stand in a five-fold judgement which they will give an account of all of the words, the deeds, the thoughts whether good are bad will be judged but the only sentence can be death in the lake of fire for they had rejected the only one who could have saved them in the life they lived on this earth. These judgements are in the future after people die. There is no reincarnation, it is a lie and total deception by Satan himself. If you fall for this false belief then you will stand in the second judgement. Why not stand in the first and ask Christ to take over your heart and life and then receive rewards and crowns for your service to him while on this earth for one day you will see that I have spoken truth and I hope you will stand with me to receive a crown of Life which jesus has already promised to those who love him and all called of him..

Read 'Johnny and the Dead' by Terry Pratchett. It's an amusing book that has an interesting take on the afterlife that I happen to agree with.

As to why we die, it's part of the harmony of life. Life and Death are not opposing forces, but two points in the same cycle; they depend upon and even create each other. All that lives must die, and death nourishes new life, even plants. If nothing died there would be no room for new life, and nothing to fuel it.

Hi SPIKE'S NAUGHTY GIRL. There is no such thing as reincarnation. When we die there is a separation of the soul from the body. For the person who has been saved, at the moment of their salvation they received a new resurrected soul. This soul (upon the death of their body) goes into Heaven to be with Jesus Christ. Then, on the last day, these souls along with Jesus will return and receive their resurrected bodies.

For those who are not saved (upon the death of their body), their soul also leaves but instead of going into Heaven it goes to a place of silence. There it remains in darkness and silence until the last day when Jesus returns and then all of the unsaved will be judged and cast into Hell.

God tells us in the Bible we all will stand for judgment. In Romans 14:9-10 we read:

"For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. 10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ."
