I live in Austin, Texas .I currently am making 7dollars an hour.
I wanted to quit at the end of may so I could enjoy time off to myself for summer,but the parents really like me alot and want to pay me more to stay alittle longer until the end of August.How much should this be worth?

Wow in all my time of baby sitting I NEVER made even close to 7 dollars an hour!!! But if they think you deserve more since youre going to stay when you really didnt want to Id ask for maybe $1.50-$2.00 more an hour. Thats good money for baby sitting!!! I know how hard one year olds can be sometimes, I have one, but still, thats good money. If you really dont wanna stay though I wouldnt cause you might get frustrated one day when your friends want you to go do something and you cant cause you have to babysit and you might accidently take it out on the baby all day. Maybe ask your friends to see if one of them would like to do it if you really dont want to. But think about how much money you would have to do stuff when youre NOT babysitting!!

WOW ur lucky I only pay 5 an hour....maybe a dollar to 2 dollars more an hour...you dont want to go too high either

Depends on where you live. The going rate in my town is about $6.00 an hour.

when i babysit i charge 8 an hour and 2 per extra child
