Why would it be higher than average? I am not sure exactly what you mean. If I saw a giraffe before, would my odds be better than average of seeing on if I was on a safari? No. It wouldn't be. I am not sure why it would be any different with a ghost. Either it is there or it isn't.

That said, if you IMAGINED you saw a ghost, then that would suggest that you either have an overdeveloped sense of imagination, or that you are suffering from some mental illness. In that case, you probably ARE more likely to "see" a ghost. But it won't be because there was a ghost there.

I would say no because I believe the ghost you saw had a reason for being where it was when you saw it.

I personally think a ghost walk is more impersonal and those ghosts would have to have a reason to appear to the person or people on the ghost walk.

You might be more likely than others to see a ghost in general but probably in the original setting you saw it in before, not on the ghost walk.

When i did the ghost walk (the one that starts at the voodoo shop right off bourbon) i got the creepiest chills and i am sure i saw a lady where there could have been no lady(when they have you looking up to the room in the attic of some building near Jefferson square, i think i remeber she was burned alive in there, i was not paying much attention to the tour cuz i was trying to figure out if i was seeing what i was seeing!)... but how it goes is all up to you and how you go into the experience. Also when i took the Marie LaVoe tour (which i am not sure how i ran across and i never found again, but i am sure you can ask the tour people and they can help you) there is a very clear image of a lady in one of my pictures i took while we are up stairs in the old pharmacy, and there where no people permitted on that side of the room. If you go to Marie LaVoe's tomb remember to take something personal to leave her, i gave her my sunglasses the last time i was there.

I would say no. If you want to see a ghost try staying in one of the notoriously haunted places. Or you can try going to on the walk and return to the places after the ghost walk. There is a large hotel near the east side of the French Quarter that is well known for being haunted.

A spirit ( they are called spirits ) that have died and they are the ones that have gone to heaven, so when they appear to us, they are on a higher level ( when you see them they are some what above the floor or ground,) they have reach their journey and passed their light , that's why you don't see them on floor level. They are loved ones, families, friends that want to communicate with us.

Ghost, are the ones that died, and for some reason, did not reach their light and did not reach their journey, they walk the same level as we do. They died and they think they are still on this earth. So I just wanted to help you out here, Good Luck.

i don't know if you have higher chances since you've seen one before but on a ghost tour in new orleans (which i assume your going on since this is the new orleans topic page) you are very likly to see one, or going to one the the plantations, Myrtles for example which is one fo the most haunted places in the world, you will for sure see a ghost. http://www.myrtlesplantation.com/
