THis is the Religion category- can we respect each others' beliefs without cutting someone down? I could see if we talked about religion in another category, but isn't that what this what this category is for? To explore and to understand others religions?

I agree with you and I don't (intentionally) bash another person's beliefs. If I ask a question, it is mostly to try to gain information on a specific belief and if I answer, I give my honest opinion and input.

Because some of these questions cut to the core of our faiths and question why we believe certain things. Rather than really look at why they believe what they do they choose to blast the person so they don't have to take the question seriously.
That and people ask some really stupid questions.

No, for some people here are filled with such an overweening arrogance that their religion is the "one, true religion" (which means everyone else's is junk) that you will always have smashing and bashing

Most religious people bash eachother, but that's because they don't know the love of Christ. As a Christian, I don't hate anbody, actually, I want as many people as possible saved.

To respect an others beliefs that are totally contrary to your own is to condone his belief.
To actually say that he is correct.
To go along with it.
To say it is OK.
To bring his belief up with your own, making it equal with yours.
You say Jesus is Lord.
He says no He isn't.
I don't think so.

haha bonnie is right. All i do at work is sit and watch the money roll in so i can give it to charity. I need something else to do aswell.
