Yes, you can drink too much water. The water becomes toxic. Just recently in a nearby city a woman died from drinking to much water. She was participating in a radio contest to win a wii and had to hold her wee.

Most definitely! A radio station in California had a water drinking contest. In about an hour a lady drank 2 gallons of water & died at home later from it. The radio station is being sued. The DJ's were fired. A nurse had called in & told them it wasn't safe but they ignored her.

Yes, there was contest not too long ago where the person who drank the most water won a trip (I don't remember where too). A lady died from drinking too much water in such a short period of time.

I think your stomach would stop you before it would cause a physiological problem. Actually, most people should drink far more water than they do. Go for it!

Absolutely...it can kill you! A student at our local college was hazing for a fraternity...he drank 2 gallons (or so) of water, became sick and later died. Water toxicity...makes the brain swell. Very dangerous! Please be careful!
