Sure, why not? It might help curb people's smoking and the tax can be used to help out the healthcare situation.

As a non-smoker, I think it's funny how much people pay for cigs.

As a reply to the previous poster, do you have any facts to back up your statement that booze is deadlier? I don't think it is.

Hell no! We need to start cranking up the taxes on bibles and other religious paraphernalia. Religion has done far more damage to my health than cigs ever have.

To IT Pro: Tell you what. I'll smoke 10 cigs and drive by your kids' school bus stop OR drink 10 beers and do the same thing. Your choice, PICK NOW! thought so!
