My senior class is pulling the senior prank on Thursday. The entire class is over 500 students (started off as 1000 freshmen) -(I know large school... 2nd largest student body in the state with the largest campus)-.
All the seniors know so changing it would be near impossible, but since our senior class color is yellow (don't know why) we are calling it Code Yellow. All seniors wear yellow to school (like an assembly day) and after 3rd hour (or during) all seniors stick post-it notes all over the school hallways that say "code yellow," "class of 2007," and other things. Now my school is HUGE so post-its everywhere would be hilarious and would not get anyone pulled from graduation. --That was the biggest concern, since they don't allow students who pull a destructive (or similar) prank to graduate.-- Many people are covering their cars bags, books, and other stuff with post-it's too.
Does this sound stupid or would you do it?
Any ideas on how to improve it by then?
Thanks!

Also, some teachers are supporting this and even letting students out early during 3rd hour.

I think the idea is dumb. It is not funny enough to risk getting in trouble. If your administration is strict, they'll do handwriting samples to catch even a few. If the administration is lax, it simply wouldn't be funny.
My brother was suspended his senior year for taping his teacher's door shut. He thought it'd be funny, but paint was chipped and he was told he wouldn't be able to graduate with his classmates. They eventually caved, but it wasn't worth it.
Remember this...
Your principal needs to set an example so future classes don't try to equal or top your class's prank. If paint peels from one note, that is a major problem for your principal because budgets are always tight and custodian's are professional nags and there is almost always at least one that hates seniors this time of year. He will exaggerate the destruction to make it look worse for you guys.
Also, all teachers that look pretty cool, can turn out to be jerks. When I was a senior, our advisor was awesome, right up until the day before graduation. Four girls were late for practice and she ripped on us for about two hours. So don't always think all your teachers have your back.

So, you're saying its okay to do something incorrect as long as you do not get stuck? properly, solid luck in existence with that body of options. by the way, some youngsters pulled a senior prank at my daughters college. no longer in basic terms did they land up owing a pot finished of funds to fix the wear, yet they were no longer enable to stroll with their classification or perhaps attend the commencement. They were given their diplomas contained in the mail. Does that sound like its worth it? quite?

Yeah alittle cause they are just gonna stop you when they see you putttin them everywhere. Do you have cameras in yor school if not have everyone go there the night before and cover every inch of the walls with them. Yeah alittle illegal but thats what senior pranks are all about. And its just tresspassing

Well I guess if no one minds picking up a bunch of litter, its relatively harmless, but it will be quite a mess.

Would I do it? No. -A tad bit too silly to participate in I think...what others do, is their own business in this regard - in this matter.

I wouldn't do it just because it sounds dumb, not funny. Plus the poor janitor has to clean it up, what did he ever do to you?
