I actually just made this the other day and was very impressed. They're basically potato/salmon cakes, but taste delicious.

1 lb. potatoes, peeled and quartered
6 Tbsp. butter
2 scallions, finely chopped
handful of finely chopped fresh parsley
1 1/2 lb. canned salmon, drained
2/3 cup light olive oil, for frying

Cook potatoes in water until soft. Drain , place in bowl and mash with butter, scallions, parsley.
Break salmon into pieces and mis into potatoes. Add seasoning to taste. (if it seems thick, add some milk)
Shape into medium sized patties, lay on plate, cover, and refridgerate until firm.
Heat oil in frying pan. Add fish cakes and cook for a few minutes on each side, until brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Then, enjoy!

Pink salmon on toast is a good idea. Here's the recipe. Take one tin of pink salmon. Open. Take 2 pieces of bread. Toast. Put Salmon on toast. Voila! For that professional finish, put a sprig of parsley on top. Or something.

There are many things you can make with it, but here are a couple of unusual dishes.
The first is a Spanish dish called 'Reuvelto' (not sure on spelling. Drain the juice from the salmon. Heat a pan with ollive oil. Add 100g chopped red/green pepper and 50g of sring onion and cook until soft and slightly brown. Crack two eggs into it and whisk, add the salmon and serve on lettuce leaves. The other recipe is part boil 300g potatoes, remove and roughly chop. Heat an oven to 200C add potatoes with 70mls of vegetable oil, salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown. Add the drained salmon and heat for 5 monutes. Remove. Serve with mango chutney and yoghurt, you might want to add shredded cucumber and chopped mint to the yoghurt

Mix it with sweetcorn, chopped celery, mayo etc & make a snack.
You could leave the lit partly attached and turn it into a shooting target by standing it at 45 degrees.
You could carefully take the paper off the tin and use it to roll up some weed to get high, shoot the tin while you're getting high.. then eat the snack when the munchies set in.

I usually make patties with it, the bones are fine enough to be able to be used. It is too tedious to remove them plus it is a source of calcium. I prepare them in the following way

Put the everything in a bowl including the liquid then add 4 to 6 whole saltine crackers, you can also use toll house crackers. Add 1 egg and season to your taste. I use salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, soul seasoning, and parsley.

Heat a skillet on medium heat with some oil in it, I like to use either EEVO (extra virgin olive oil) or soy oil.

Form into patties then I put them in a flour mixture before frying.
I use flour, salt and freshly ground pepper and coat both sides.

I fry them on med high heat turning several times until you get a golden brown crust and put them on bread with what ever you would put on a hamburger.

You can also use it like you would tuna, make a salad or a cassarole with it.

I am not sure what you can make but I do know where you can find out. Go to www.allrecipes.com and there is a place where you can enter what is in your cupboards and they will give you a list of recipes that use those ingredients. It is free and I have gotten a ton of great recipes from this site. The recipes are rated by people who have used them so you know they are good recipes.

One time while i substitute into attempting to apply up my canned salmon, positioned it in a skillet with cooked spaghetti squash, some sunlight-dried tomato tapenade & minced onions - it substitute into exceptionally wonderful, no longer gunna lie!! of direction I used some spices, which probably coated, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, oregano & basil!! Oh and if it starts sticking to the backside, fowl broth is often a reliable addition!

Yum! You can put it on home-made pizza or anything you would put tuna on. I do have a warning. I love pink Salmon but I put some on a sandwhich once with mayo. I didn't like the color but it was damn good.
