Why're American women so hateful towards Asian men?

I don't get it.

Oh and are there any American women that would date a Asian man?

I mean any American woman from any race,just curious.

Um and if anyone's gonna say it's the size thing..
Then I would suggest for you to get down on your knees and find out for yourself.

Whose to say American women hate Asian men? You may have had a bad experience, but that doesn't mean all American women hate Asian men. It doesn't even mean the one you had this bad experience with hates them. It just means she didn't like you. (Not to be rude or sound mean or anything). She may have not liked you for so many different reasons, I don't think you should be bringing Race into this.

And yes An American woman would date an Asian man. And there are probably couples like that out there, even now. But how would you know? How would anyone know?

I think Race is the cause of your bad experience, and I don't suggest you blame it on Race. Everyone has things they like, and don't like about a person, and everyone has their own 'type'. Race doesn't have to be part of it. Especially since an Asian man can be an American, right? just like an Asain female can.

We all see the fact that many socially liberal white men have set themselves free from race, and date whoever they want these days. But only recently have we seen white women doing the same. I don't know if the "hate" those men- honestly I see them show "disregard" or ignorance, but not "hate". Still, many of them have this recent Paris Hilton complex and I don't know why anyone would find that attractive, but I feel that is passing, going the way of Britney Spears career. More white women are looking within. I think that the more asian senators, generals, secretaries of state, actors, artists, and rock stars we see (sexy people- not just scientists), the more open people's minds will be.

Lately I have seen more and more WFAM couples, including some friends of mine. You can see it in San Francisco and LA, but Yeah, the rest of the country hasn't caught up. On the other hand, anything can happen anywhere at any time, remember that there were white women in the internment camps who refused to leave their Japanese husbands. There have always been some hella cool white babes out there.

And by the way, you don't have to be white to be American. If you speak English , have a job, and live here, I consider you American.

Try Yahoo Personals. Maybe some cool "American" chick will do a search for Male, 18-25, Asian, etc.

In addition, I recommend throwing caution out the window and going after what you want. You guys are too polite in a pickup environment that demands that you be a little more of a maverick (jerk). Buy a cowboy hat and join a fraternity. I'm serious.

I love black people; both men and women. I don't care what a few out of millions have said or done, I still like black men. So much hate is unhealthy. With so much hate in your heart, how can any love get through? Maybe the black men around you have a reason for mistreating you. Perhaps you are unpleasant to be around. Everyone's different. So you shouldn't judge all for what a few have done. And Jeyda, you are far too cute to be so hateful. It's clear you have some esteem issues and you feel inferior. Perhaps you should seek therapy. Take the other black men haters with you.

Because most American women don't realize how sexy an Asian man can be. :) And they have also been socialized to believe that Asian men are somehow less virile, which is definitely not true. In a way, though Asians are stereotypically portrayed as model minority, this isn't so for dating, unless it's white men dating Asian women.

Trust me, lots of us think Asian guys are cute, we just dont necessarily admit it! And I don't think we're HATEFUL towards you. If a woman would hate you because of your race then she's a horrible person. However, the truth is that people are attracted to what they are attracted to. Every individual's different.

I can't believe you are asking this question right now with the VA Tech shootings. Right now, I'm sure alot of people are rethinking their views of Asian guys. Only time will tell after yesterday. Just have confidence and shut up about this for one day.

This is, a most ridiculous question for some of us who work in diverse surroundings every day of our lives...It's never about race in being interested in men, for many of us. It's about class, education, personality. That should be easy to "get".

Don't make it about sex, either dear...that's simply ludicrous.

By the way, you don't have to state you're 16-20 going on 12, we already figured it out.

I can't speak for all of us, but I am an American woman who has gone out with Korean, a Japanese, and Philipino men.

Then again, I'm of Indian descent. I'm more open to seeing all kinds of guys and well, white ones, maybe they aren't.
