Just go and have a dinner and ask him/she do you really love me? I really love you and I want to be with your forever! Say he/she is the only one in your life that you want to be with! then later maybe you will be togehter forever!

If after four years together you cannot be up front and say to him, "What the heck are we doing here?", then you've got a big problem. After four years, if you haven't discussed marriage and you're afraid to bring it up, then it sounds like he's OK with getting the milk for free without having to buy the cow. Sit him down and have an honest discussion. Good luck.

Why not just let the relationship be what it is without having to attach some formal status to it?

Just tell him how wonderful these past 4 years have been, you've never been happier and he has made you the luckiest woman alive...then you can ask him how he feels about the two of you and your relationship.

After 4 years, I would think you'd be comfortable enough to ask him anything....either that, or you should just know by now. Either way, just ask him girl. Do it...u have a right to know.
