Ok, I know this isn't what you meant, but:
(all chuck norris "top 30" jokes aside)
Chuck freaking Norris is a bible thumping, gun toting, redneck type. While I doubt his ability to take on anyone unarmed these days (his roundhouses is part of the "top 30" joke), especially a trained groundfighter or even someone with minimal grappling ability- he would likely just pull out a freaking cowboy six shooter and plug a couple into your chest.
I have heard he even used to go along on drug busts as some kind of special consultants with SWAT teams. I have no doubt he is a hardcore redneck texan in real life. I don't think his unarmed skills are even close enough to take out even an amateur MMA fighter, or even just a well-trained non amateur fighter, but I would definately not put it past him to be the type to just chew some dip, quote the bible about immorality and beat you with a tire iron from his pickup truck.
As for jet lee and jackie chan....
well I think any one of those untrained "celebrity" boxing match participants- even angelina jolie would give them serious trouble. THEY are ACTORS!
AMADEUS: I want proof of your claim that Norris is a black belt in BJJ. IF That is true, (which if you prove it I have no problem retracting my statements about his ground and grappling ability) then it should be easy to verify. As black belts are strictly controlled in BJJ and each one can be traced easily to who awarded it to him and when. Please provide this information. Who awarded it to him. proof that he is, when, what school?

I can explain, I think. First off most people here study an ART, a Budo not a Bugi. They assume that there kata will actually help them in a real fight, or in a cage fight. Nothing against an ART form but without being P.C. None of there arts will help them with a real fight. I've fought in point tourn. did well. No way or form did that help me when I jumped into the cage. They think that working on their s.d. or kata will translate into a real fight. I have tried being nice and pc about my answers but getting down to brass tacks. A half a** cage fighter could wipe out 90% of anyone from any style of any school that trains a traditional style. Use your kata, dare ya. work that s. d. your were taught, when you wake up we'll see how that worked out for ya. A person who trains for real combat vs someone who trains in an art the combat person has a major advantage. Of course anything is possible and the artsy person could get lucky.

In the ring with it's rules, you MAY be right. But do not forget that Li,Chan have been in the martial arts since they were children, wouldn't you think they would they would know the same things a MMA fighter would know and much MUCH more. Norris is a fighter and could win. Out of the ring with no rules, MMA fighters would not have a chance, Li,Chan and Norris have far more knowledge and options. A real fight should last 5 seconds not 5 rounds.

Umm. Chuck norris is an acclaimed TKD champion. He has 65 wins, and 5 losses or something like that and all of his losses came from his first 10 fights. Also, he later avenged all of his defeats with victories over those who beat him. These were TKD events though, not MMA fights but he is/was the real deal. as for jackie and jet li i agree but you were way off with chuck. If he was in his prime he would have done well in the original UFC with no rules when mixing martial arts wasnt popular. Though, chuck openly admited he would have been no match for bruce lee, who also was the real deal.
Basicly, do your research next time. STUPID!

Stop being so serious. Most people know that an actor cant beat a real fighter, just like they know wwe is rigged, but it can still be fun. I think most people put the questions up tongue in cheek for a bit of fun and variety.

Because they are either:
1.) Effin' stupid
2.) Have never been in a real fight (or)
3.) Have never seen a MMA fight, but HAVE WATCHED plenty of movies!
I have come the realization, and appreciation, of these people. If more and more people continue to think like them, then that leaves REAL martial artists (like BJJ and Muy Thai prectitioners) with no real threat. I say...don't say anything and let them keep believing it.
However, I do know that Chuck Norris can slam revolving doors! LOL!

You'd like this video. It's a stand-up comedian, Pablo Francisco, and he's making fun of Jackie Chan and Jet Li.

Most Martial arts are not designed for a prolonged one on one brawl/slugfest, they're for physical fitness, inner focus, and (in a fight) more for quick knockout and get away situations or dealing with more than one attacker. Still, most of these guys could learn basic ground techniques easily and after doing so I would still place my money on them (in their prime) in a fight against any current fighter of the same weight class

Because they can. UFC and the like is bottom of the barrel martial arts. In fact, it's basically mere fighting. Not sure I'd even classify it as martial arts.
