To say that Muslim is a peaceful religion is a lie from Satan himself. Don't you believe it!

After 9/11, muslim leaders from all over the U.S made speeches...some were covered by the media but most wern't because people like to watch the news to see who got killed, or who blew himself up..nobody will tune in to see what the peaceful muslims are saying. If you actually watched the news you would've seen these peaceful muslims repeating again and again that Islam does NOT teach violence and what these people are doing is against this religion.

many muslim leaders are against terrorism , may be some aren't takin it so serious but they do.
Governments do All the y can to disrupt and destroy terrorist cells, many countries are already doing that and did that back in the days when the US used to support those terrorists and give them US residency and offers them protection.
countries like Egypt for example, suffered from terrorism for many years back in the 80sand90s (notice that ALL those groups were created after Israel's existence) Egypt on her own literally crushed the terrorist cels that were operating in the country.
Omar Abd Elrahman who was involved in the 1st WTC bombing back in the early 90s, was granted political refugee and the protection of the US while he was a wanted man in Egypt. the US refused to turn him in to the Egyptian Athurities and look what happened to him now!!! in an American federal prison,

the reason to Why especially Islam is because Muslims in the middle east feel persecuted by their governments who are American puppets. they do as they are told by the US and any one with the slightest knowledge about the HISTORY of the US foreign politics and in particular the middle east should know what the US has done to those people. and the double standards and the empty promises and the use and abuse of the middle east people.
they grew up to hate Israel and the US as Israel's big daddy who supplies them with weapons to kill their fellow Arabs.
many people know that the governments are traitors and took that road to get revenge!!!

and iam muslim and i really condemn terrorism , murdereing ppl isn't from islam and is consedered one of the major sins!

Open your eyes and research, heck even CNN did a special on them a few weeks ago. It's not just the leaders who are speaking up. Trouble is the terrorists make things up as they go along, so they twist definitions around to claim Muslims who don't toe THEIR party line (terrorism) and support it are considered kafir as much as any other person.

Nobody's going to get anything through their thick skulls that what they're doing isn't Islamic, but they are trying to speak up to educate those who refuse to understand that terrorism isn't Islam.

The "Peaceful Leaders" should be leading protests after every bombing, kidnapping etc. which is "contrary to the Quran" If they do that the so-called "Insurgents" just might take notice. It's a pity there isn't an overall "Caliph" who could excommunicate the extremists!

Surprisingly, there are a few on these boards who come out against violence without prompting.

I'm probably the most outspoken person here against Islam, so this is something for someone like me to admit.

That girl who used to call herself "beautiful Muslimaah" is one of them.

The rest who think they can get through life with disdain for anyone who speaks out against Islam are just kidding themselves. Eventually, the whole world will turn against them and they'll be scratching their heads wondering what happened.

You would think that they would stand up for what they believe if it's so valuable to them and not let the terrorists succeed in hi-jacking their religion.

The fact that they don't speak out tells a great deal about them.

******************
Note to NUNYA: If you're tired of speaking out, you'll eventually reap the whirlwind because terrorists are definitely not tired of killing. You're going to have to face the idea of speaking out against violence for the rest of your life if you want to escape the reputation the world is giving you just for being a member of this inhuman religion.

If you do nothing about it, it's your fault, not anyone elses.

SSDD, every day, some idiot whines about muslims not speaking out. We have idiot. Im done speaking out. Its your turn to listen

"reap the whirlwind" "inhuman religion" I am responsible for MY OWN actions not some terrorists actions. I dont have to appease anyone. My religion is peaceful and if nonbelievers do not believe that that is their problem. I obviously did not fly any of the planes on 9/11 i will not apologise for those people who did. What they did takes them out of islam. They do NOT believe the same as me or they wouldnt do what they do. So to lump us all in one group is not only ignorant but it is prejudiced. I have spoke out. I will not spend the rest of my life saying Im sorry for some other sickos crime. Muslims have been speaking out for 6 years now and no one wants to hear it. Since you obviously did not click the link, I will tell you what it says Its a partial listing of muslims and leaders and muslim groups who have spoken out. I say its a partial listing. Do not wag your finger at me!

There's a few on here, but there's not many on the news, whether that's because they won't put one on the news in order to keep a picture of muslims painted in our minds that the media wants us to hold, or there are none... I don't know.

::Raises hand::

Over here!

I am completely against the Shi'a/Sunni conflict and ALL forms of terrorism (carried out by Muslims or others). I also support the US's war in Iraq and vote Republican (although I tend to agree that W is not the brightest light bulb in the fixture).
