Are these bumps showing up immediately after shaving, or the next day? I have the same problem a day or two after shaving. Try exfoliating the area prior to shaving, and then exfoliate 24-48 hours afterwards. You'll have less ingrown hairs which may be creating these bumps. Hope this helps!

I use to suffer from bikini bumps as well and it was not fun. Bikini bumps are also known as hair bumps. They are a direct result improper shaving, waxing, or tweezing techniques. As a result, your body has had an inflammatory response, which you see as a bump , mini red bump, or purple raised bump. The infected areas are often itchy and can spread quickly.
I would suggest that you try Beauty 4 Ashes Hair Bump Destroying solution. It worked miracles for me and my husband. It contains no alcohol. So it won't sting your skin. It also is all-natural and smells great. Check out their website is www.discoverb4a.com.

Shaving irritates the skin, as it can create small cuts that may or may not be noticed. It simply cuts the edge of a hair off, rather than grasping at it's roots.
Waxing is an amazing alternative. Not only does it grasp the entire hair, causing it to not grow back for up to three weeks, but it is also better on your skin!

waxing is a bad idea all together, i just did it 2 days ago and I would rather shave in an instant. I've been shaving for like 7 years, make sure you use a new razor when you do it, get good shaving cream for sensitive skin, and after wards rub lotion on the area. lotion with vitamin e and aloe vera.

Yes. I do have some advise. Buy a good women's electric shaver. Razors can irritate your skin too much. I used a razor down there once. I will never do that again. My skin got really irritated when I did that. It's too easy to cut your skin with a razor, and razors shave too close. It's too easy to get ingrown hairs if you shave with a razor.

I've been shaving for 10 years. I'm just too shy to get waxed and scared to do it myself. Anyways, the BEST product ever is coochy cream(yes that's the name of it) look for it online or any local lingerie shop. it's even great for men and if you run out of hair conditioner you can use it on your hair. Its so moisturizing and your bumps and itchyness will go away. I promise =)

Last I checked you were supposed to use a razor there, that's why they have these things called bikini wax. At least that what my friend has done.

Try Veet's Velvet Comfort Epilating Kit. gets rid of hair, no wax, no razor. Or try their Hair Removal Cream. You dont use a blade, but it takes hair away. No blade->no bumbs, rashes, itchyness.

I know girls who use hair conditioner instead of shaving cream. They say it's easier to use and it makes their skin really soft. If tht doesn't work then i guess you have save up money to wax it.
