Christains "hate" other religions, dont tell me that you dont..you do. dont give me this..we hate the sin and not the sinner crap..thats just to "cover" up the issue!

Enough is enough, get over yourselfs. stop sticking your "christain" nose where it dont belong.

Many Christian churchs have doctines of finding the lost. And to them the lost is anyone that doesn't believe exactly like they do. With over 100 different sects in the christian faith alone they should worry about themselves more than the pagans and such.
Many of the fundie christians out there are the ones that arenot secure in their own faith and need to convert others to prove their faith to themselves and others. That is a fact. Christianity lost it's 'Love one another' status a long time ago, It is now corrupt with status and social standings. Many Christians go out looking for non christians so that they can belittle them and make themselves feel better. This is history repeating itself again and again. When the Christians were converting the British isles, they easily converted the cities and then started class warfare by claiming the peasants as unworth and they were dirty. The Old English word of peasants is 'PAGAN'. And that is how the term paganism cam into existance.
Christians generally can't follow the same rules that they force on others. They want to whine about how terrible it was when the Romans hunted and harrassed the christians, but it is alright for the Christians to hunt down and harass the pagans. Also the Christians want to insult the ways of the pagans, but yet they adopted the pagan traditions in so many aspects of their lives. Christmas is based on the Pagan Yule, Easter with OStara, May Day with Beltaine, and so on. This also applies to history, many christians only accept bit and pieces spread out involving history, if it doesn't make them look good they deny that it happened.
Then we have the 'true christian' crap. Many Christians claim to be true Christians, and everytime a christians is caught doing something wrong he is proclaimed into not be a true christian. It is a simple way to keep their social status evevated and deny that christians do bad things.
With the Christians being so confused they better clean their own house before they start judging others.

I am not saying that there are no Christians who do those things but I know that you know we don't all do those things.

Furthermore, it is not like Christianity has cornered the market on being rude to those with beliefs different than their own...these are some "answers" that have been posted by non-Christians just in the last hour or so:

"No...they're brainwashed by the cult they've chosen to take part in, and you can't reason with them. I'm a very open minded person, willing to look at all sides of an issue, but these zealots can't even take a break from their mind controlled state and listen to what someone has to say. It's their right to be this way if they please, but it's a futile effort at best to try to get them to put aside some of their banter for a moment and come together as human beings and work toward a common good. "

"No one needs to be saved. Most souls cross over and no idiotic religion has anything to do with it. "

"Neither they are both a load of crap!
Do you really think there is a man sat on clouds in the sky?
Do you think he was able to make us?
Id top yourself now whilst you have the chance"

"Well you can't prove what doesn't exist after all.
So, it's hardly surprising that they are unable to prove the existence of thier magic sky-pixie. "

Not exactly "tolerant" and respectful are they?
Most of the questions that these were in response to were obviously directed to those among us who ARE Christians, why are all these obviously non-Christian people answering questions that are specifically directed to Christians?
I'm betting it is not so that they can kindly and gently show us the "error" of our ways.

Idiocy and ignorance ARE NOT limited to Christians. They are traits shared by most of the human race at one time or another.

First of all, I so do not hate other religions, ok. It seems that you are angry and confused with your life right now. just saying. And I wouldn't say all christains hate other religions ( but a good percentage may? ). But I do agree with you when you say christians should mind there own "bees wax". We have the right to do free speech but it gets annoying. If someone is pagan, ok, whatever. And I am not exactly sure if they go to hell too, but who knows?

You sound like you are full of the same hate and resistance you are complaining about in others.
One day, when you are more secure in your own beliefs, you may be able to say, "Whatever you believe is fine with me. I believe this. Let's figure out how we can get along."
Until that day, you are going to find a nosey "Christian" under every bush, and no one to understand YOU.
You are very defensive and angry, and it will come back at you -over and over.
If YOU change to be more polite, loving, and acepting, you will find loving and kind Christians, atheists, pagans, Hindus, etc, who want to love you and not FIX you.
PS. You ARE on the religion board. If you want to talk about something else, go THERE.

If you come on Yahoo! Answers and post a question, opening responses to everyone, how can it be considered "sticking our noses where it don't belong?".

And, even though you deny this vehemently, it's not about hating other people's religions but really is about loving others to share with them what we believe to be true.

The choice is yours to make: either believe it or don't, but why relegate yourself to very same thing you accuse us of doing-- hateful words towards others?

Yes. We all should - Christians and non Christians alike. Will we? Probably not. If we were truly minding our own bees wax, we wouldn't likely be here.

Peace!

The Bible tells us Christians not to be busy bodies, to give no one reason to feel offended , to give a soft answer and to live in peace with our neighbor to the extent that is is possible. We are told to be respectful, patient, and fair. I hope you won't judge Christianity by the actions of Christians who have not read the Bible enough to know this.

I definitely think they need to stop pointing fingers and criticizing others perceived sins, and worry about their own. It's the absolute EPITOME of arrogance, self-righteousness, and self-absorption to think that they have the right to judge anyone else, or that anyone else cares a whit what THEY think we should believe. Their beliefs are THEIR beliefs.

I have every right to say what I want to say.God bless America. I have people knocking on my door at 9:30a in the morning. so I'll say what I want to say, just like you. It's not only the Christians who do it you know.

I see alot of wiccans complaining about being persecuted, but I don't see many christians persecuting them, just making comments that their religion is false, much like I see wiccan's saying about christianity. We all think everyone else is wrong.
