I having the look that some people might consider "preppy" admire that you don't judge people on their appearance.
I don't really know where you would get what you call "emo" hairstyles, but heres a great site that allows you to browse through a variety of styles:

well you could cut out celebs hair with the big sweeped fringes...& say thats what you would like.
