My darling hubby just alerted me to this clone (and also note the other Loka clones in this person's Fans list).

How ought one to take clones of oneself? As flattery, as people with no life of their own, as folks who maybe have a crush on you, what?

And, what possible spiritual satisfaction could one get from doing this?

I don't think its flattery. People clone for lots of reasons.

Usually to steal the attention/spotlight of the person they're cloning. (Acid, Godzilla, Laptop) Sometimes its to mock a certain person. They pose as an extreme personality and then take that persons questions to the next level. (Fireball asking questions about how hot everyone wants it in hell. The Mayor asking how much people like him, etc)

Hi dear :) I also have a clone here on Answers. My first reaction was sending that person a message saying 'I'm honoured to have a clone. Thank you for bringing attention to my name'

That person obviously has no life. I'm glad I do, it must be very interesting in the eyes of that clone - hence the situation :P

I've been cloned 3 times, and I simply play along. I answer the questions, I refuse to report (everyone else takes care of that for me) and I find that in a matter of only days my clones become bored and go away.

I think that if people know this bothers you they'll take it to a whole new level. Some things die quietly if allowed. Clones are one of these things.

mocking somebody and imitating them could be comparable in which you're doing the comparable ingredient that somebody else is doing, yet once you mock somebody that's with the rationale of insulting somebody or doing them injury.
