I have 6 Bostons and have raised them for a long time as a favorite breed. They are not bulldogs, that is a separate breed, although there is bulldog in their ancestry. They are the only true American breed, and I believe the city of Boston uses them as their mascot.

They are called Boston Terriers, and ONLY called that name. I also have 2 bulldogs, and believe me, there is a BIG difference.

Yeppers it is, it has a large head, and stocky body, with a short coat of hair, thus making it a bulldog.

They even have the same demeanor of APBTs. Hyperactive, love people, chew like little monsters, extremely loyal, and just plain goofy.
