We'd probably call it a terrorist attack and start another war with whatever country he came from.
Instead of calling it some messed up student that had parents that didnt love him enough...
And to all the people who answered this question and said "i think he was a Muslim"
He was south korean...I doubt he was Muslim.

it does not matter who did it. It just goes to show that this man was either not happy or mentally ill. he did not have to take it out on 30 people! i don't care who he is!! he still killed innocent people. and it's wrong.
what is this country coming to? Why can't parents raise their kids the right way. to respect culture, race, and so forth??? we need to start looking at this world in a better way.
what happend in colombine? kids these days are mean and the school staff should not tolerate such behaviors.
who knows why this man killed all those people. could it have been revenge or hatered??? who knows???

Are you kidding? The process of deporting all Muslims from America would already be underway.
I'm sure that, since the guy was Korean, the talk of "multiculturalism : good or bad" will be all over talk radio, etc. for days to come.

There does seem to be some doubt about this....
I think right now, the concern is for the grief of the family and friends of the victims.
The religion of the shooter is not paramount in anyone's mind right now.

This was a very disturbed young man. I think it would be the intent behind the act. Just a young muslim who was ill would be one thing, but as a holy act against innocents, it would be percieved as terrorism.

If the shooter turned out to be Muslim, they wouldn't even think about calling him "crazy" or "mentally disturbed." They would only say it was another Muslim terrorist act.
This young man, REGARDLESS of religious affiliation or belief, had SEVERE issues to carry out such a horrible act.
