I don't want to sell these or anything so I'm not trying to do anything illegal - I just want to burn rented movies so I can keep them in my library. They are all protected though.

Yes, what you are describing is illegal. It's a violation of copyright law, and if you're busted you're looking at a fine of $750.00 to $150,000.00 for each movie you steal this way.

Actually, that is illegal. But, if you want to make backup copies of DVDs you legally bought, use DVDShrink...it's free too.
