When I say something I often find that I'm mouthing it out right after I say them, and I think about it after I say it too, I just caught myself in the car doing it today, and that tells me that I do it more than I think is this normal?

My brother claims that I did this all of the time during high school. I would catch myself doing it every once in a while, so I know I did it SOMETIMES. I don't know though. It's pretty strange.

They say things like that for the shock value. It is funny to hear someone talking about something that you have thought about but have never said out loud. I am sorry, I have the opposite view from you (and I have heard it before, I just can't recall exactly where): If it doesn't offend somebody somewhere, then it's not funny. "Comedians should say things that is [sic] appropriate for everything." Yeesh. What a dull, G-rated Disney cartoon world you must live in. I'd rather have a good laugh once in a while.

I used to have a boyfriend who did the same thing. There's a medical term for the condition that causes you to do this, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is.

It's definitely mostly normal.

U have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). A lot of people have it whether they notice or not. I do have it. Its like you repeating things to feel comfortable. Theres nothing with serious mental problem though. Dont worry :)

ok ok look look, im just kidding. No you are not wierd or nothing. Actually alot of people do repeat what they say....this will go away. Try not to think bout it and it should eventually stop happening. Good luck to you.
