Yes, I read about that. I don't think any problems with kids have been reported yet, it was a voluntary recall on the product. The article I read said the mouthwash tested positive for four types of bacteria that were not killed by the preservatives put in it. They were saying that people with weaker immune systems were at higher risk.

Yes it is being recalled. It can have some microorganisms in it that can harm the child. ALL of them are being recalled. No special lot number or anything. You can go to Listerine.com and either call the number or print out the form and send it in for a refund. I was sad about it but glad my children never got sick.

Please do not believe the company when they say no illnesses have been reported. My daughter got very sick from it with some strain of bug that antibiotics didnt help. She has been off of it for about a week now and is finally starting to feel better. We are waiting on some lab results to tell us what the exact strain was. I reported this to their company as soon as the recall was made public and have heard from them an upwards of 4 times this week alone wanting more info. If your child has been sick at all with fever, nausea, tummy aches, congestion or anything else and is not typically at risk then please report it to the company.

yeah it has been recalled....you can get a refund for it. Go to www.agentcoolblue.com for the form to fill out to get the refund and more information about the recall. You must take the sticker off of the back and send it in with the form.....just discard the bottle and its contents....its hasn't made anyone sick. In some bottles they have found some type of microorganism so they didn't want to take the risk of anyone getting sick

Interesting. I just threw out our bottle a couple of weeks ago. My daughter kept getting into it and spilling it everywhere. My 7 year old son has been having gastrointestinal problems the last couple weeks. The doc has been doing blood tests and such to find out what it wrong. I wonder if this has anything to do with it. Thanks for the heads up.
