There are a lot of factors. The instruction manual should tell you. As for life, don't over charge the battery. It is usually better to let them run down before a recharge. Older Ni-Cad tended to get a memory. If it was on the charger a lot, it expected that, so it would run down quick.

Per charge, maybe a day. For the lifetime of the batteries, maybe 5 years or more if not abused. Our one cordless phone has hade the same pack for at least 5 years.

actully depending on what type of phone u have its a differrent time limitmy phone at&t phone last about an hour and a half!!
i used to have arodgers cordless phone in my room but it only lasted about 45 min!! witch sucks but yeah so if you have :
at&t- 1.5 hours
rodgers- 45 min
bell - 2 hours
somtimes depending on how u charge ur phone it makes a differrene

Depends on the brand of the phone, but I'd say usually about 4-6 hours with a newly purchased phone.

Depends on the phone. The instruction manual you got with your phone should answer that for you. If you don't still have it, take the battery to a local Radio Shack to find out.

At least two years. The one in my cell phone is going on year 3. This isn't the norm, it may be an exception to the rule.
