the metal need to stay hot red at that temperature and up to 2000 degrees C without melting.

I think all metals emit both visible and infrared radiation at that temperature. Unless it boils off below that temperature. Whether it is solid or liquid makes very less difference.

I would venture to say that at that temperature, they all do just due to blackbody radiation.
