Hun, my parents afforded me the opportunity to attend a variety of churches. I did not believe because my parents told me too and really, no parents can force their children to believe...they can force them to go to church I suppose, but that is about it.

I believe in my religion because of my own experiences and because I choose to do so. Something inside me just went "click" and I knew this was right for me. My experience was much greater than that...but its not something I can write down in a small space.

To me, Islam is a beautiful religion. I was attracted by the many rights found in the Quran for women. I liked the idea of believing that Jews, Christians, Muslims all worship the same God.
Islam is a religion of peace if followed correctly. I am very sad about the actions of terrorists and men who don't give rights to their women.
I condemn terrorism.

My parents and the majority of my family are Christians.
To my knowledge, I am the only Muslim in my family.
I grew up a Christian, but became a Wiccan in my teens.
Then this January I converted to Islam.

Your parents have no say in your beliefs as an adult.I believe what I believe because of the Peace I get from it.Like the Bible says you will know that you know.I know. When you find the Church that feeds you and you are content with all that they preach, there is where you belong. All need to belong.I wish my parents would have directed me when I was a child. But I am past the age of accountability and stand alone...Hallelujah, be Blessed.

Because out of all the ones out there to me, it's the only one that makes sense. I can be a reasonably good example of an Asatruar; I would never be anything but a marginal, footnoted, trouble making member of any other religion.

And no, my parents certainly did not tell me to practice Asatru. I grew up with a bunch of fundie Christians.

My Church instilled all the right morals in me as a person...to treat others with respect, to strive to be like Christ, to Choose the Right, to keep the Commandments, to work hard, to have a clean and healthy lifestyle, among several other things. It has also preached the importance of family, which has blessed me in many ways. I could go on and on. I've prayed about it. I've searched and I've questioned, and everything leads me back to my church. It's right in my heart. It doesn't mean it has to be right for everyone, but for me... it's true. And that is why I believe it.

I am Christian and believe in the only one God.
His attributes are all around you. Start reading the bible for yourself and ask God for understanding, if you are sincere he'll help you to understand.
Trust me, keep on living you'll find out that he's real. The bible says "every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord!"

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

No greater gift than His Son Jesus Christ.
He's why i believe

My parents always told me it was up to me to believe. My parents are some of the best people I know.

I don't only believe I know. The more I follow God's church's teachings the more I know God and become like His only Begotten son.

I have tried to live his word and have received more than all that was promised.

I wouldn't call it a religion, maybe a lack there of. I am an atheist because I realize that there is NO WAY there can be a god. That's all. Nothing against anyone who really believeds, but it not for me.

I was raised Christian, but that made no sense to me as I grew up.

Now I am a heathen infidel who still believes Jesus was a real guy, it's just the bible has too many contradictions.

So, does that make me a Jefidel?

I believe in my religion depite what my parents taught me about it. I grew up in my religion, but I got my testimony of it after I left home, and I had the chance to look around at other religions, and study them.
