What it says..we are here to serve the Lord and not take a long vacation while people are perishing..
When we are saved and become God's servants we have duties and work to do and should be about our Father's business and not our own..

Here is the Ephesians 5:15 in several translations:
"Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise," (English Standard Version)
"Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, " (NASB)
"See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise," (NKJV)
"See, then, how exactly ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise," (Youngs Literal Translation)
"Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise" (NIV)
The next verse says we should understand what the will of the Lord is. To do this, we must read and study His word, the Bible!

Be a doer & not just a hearer of the Word. This is wisdom to build upon the foudation of Christ, what He said. This is everlasting rewards.

Sorry my Bible is NKJ version and it says."See that you walk carefully, not as fools but as wise"...I would take that as we need to be watching all the time. The next verse says"redeeming the time ,because the days are evil"...That would be the reason for such evil times as today, get it.?The Word tells you what you need to know...Hallelujah.

Even if I didn't know what it means, I know I could make better use of some of my time at least.
