Nothing I say is going to make you feel any better, Courtney, not in the short term.
We've all had a bumpy ride just recently.
Here's a silly, and very old joke, because I think maybe you could do with it.
A man stumbles into the emergency department with 2 black eyes and a five iron wrapped tightly around his throat. The doctor asked him what happened.
"Well, it was like this," said the man. "I was having a quiet round of golf with my wife when she sliced the ball into a pasture of cows. We went to look for it, while I was rooting around I noticed that one of the cows had something white sticking out it's rear end. I lifted up the tail and sure enough there was the wife's golf ball stuck right up the cows butt, thats when I made the mistake.
The doc asked "What did you do?"
The man replied "I lifted up the cow's tail and shouted to the wife, hey honey! This one looks like yours!!"

A drunk was in a bar --- he was drinking and observing a guy that was making conversation with quite a few attractive women. The guy would sometimes get some strange expressions from the girls but other times it looked like he got some phone numbers too. The drunk eventually stumbles over to the guy and asked him what was going on --- "What could you possibly be telling these chicks?" The guy replied, "Well, I don't usually share my line with anyone --- but I'm in a particular good mood tonight so I'll tell yeah. I go up to sweetie pie --- and say, tickle you’re a s s with a feather? If she gives me the ok sign --- I know I'm set up for the evening --- if she looks like she's ready to scream and says WHAT?!?! I simply say something that sounds similar --- particularly nasty weather. The drunk is flabbergasted with this new information --- he can’t wait to try it out --- and as timing would have the most beautiful woman in the world just strolls into the bar. The drunk stumbles over to her and says, "Stick a feather up your a s s? "WHAT!?!?!?!?' "Oh, ahhh ----pretty phucking cold outside ain't it?"
