I agree; I know this is said too much, but would Jesus press His point here? Or would He be out in the streets showing love, forgiveness and acceptance? Let's do a little more in following the example of Christ, shall we.

Excellent point and one that I need to remind myself of on a regular basis. I don't know anybody who's ever been nagged, harassed, or hated into the Kingdom of God.

But I do know quite a few that have been loved into the Kingdom by Christians who lived Jesus' teachings as much or more than they talked about them. God bless you!

Yes, for Jesus tells us to move on when someone refuses to hear, but in this case on yahoo, we see new people come on everyday- so of course sharing His word always is good....but we should never push it on one single person.
The gospel is like a pearl! As the Bible says!

I agree, when we are focused on convincing rather than sharing, I think we lose the impact of our message. May more Christians read your words and search their hearts. God Bless.

You think?

Even St. Paul knew that no amount of his preaching and teaching would be effective if he didn't first develop a relationship with his intended audience.

The would-be Y! Answers Evangelism Team makes me wanna puke.

Well we must persevere on in the face of hate and ridicule..
Jesus took more hate and anger than we could ever hope to take...

Jesus asked GOD to forgive his enemies and we should too.
GOD is with us there is no more powerful army to stand up for us than GOD..
Peace my friend.

You don't need to prove the truth.
Many others go out of their way to convince themselves it's not true. It is their battle, not mine.
Keep up your good works for those that are truly seeking.
