The very thought of them make me smile. They are the sunshine in my life.

They have made me stronger than I thought I could be.

They have taught me things I never imagined, just by their very existance.

127:3 Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward.
I tried for 25 years to have a child. I went through 3 miscarriages. I then divorced my ex (a non-jew) and remarried in May of 1999. I went to the Mikva on my wedding day. Two months later I discovered I was 7 weeks pregnant. And, I carried full term, no problems. This was my miracle baby! ( delivered at the age of 42).

She is now 7 years old and a wonder to me every day. I thank G-d every night during Shema for this blessing he has given me.

And you?

My children are grown now, 40 and 41. They are a blessing more than I could ever have imagined or deserve.

My children are good, kind, extremely moral people who, like I at their age do not give much concern to spirituality. They live happy lives, my son is married to a Catholic lady and he attends church with his family regularly. He does not receive Holy Communion. My daughter has no children and does not attend church. I pray they will finally realize and understand. It took most of my life to finally accept what I was taught and know God so loved the world that He sent His Only Begotten Son to the end that all who believe in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Thanks be to God.

I think that the Lord knew I'd have enough other problems that I didn't need to give birth to three little spawns of Satan.

I SO love my children! They aren't perfect, but they are really good kids! They might not know what they want to be when they grow up (they are 20, 18, and 15almost16), but they know what they do not wnat to be. They do not want to be burdened with a family before they are ready. They do not want to be burdened with the monkey on their backs of drugs, alcohol or tobacco.
I also like my children. My daughter and I have talked a lot lately. She just astounds me at her insight and knowledge, and interests. She actually LIKES Shakespeare! And for music, they told me at school that she is gifted, and I believe it now!
My younger son, my middle child, is so smart! But, he likes little kids. And they like him! He can be talking to some little kid about Sesame Street, then anther teen about the latest video game and then talking toan adult about quantum physics or something.
My oldest. So confused but such a spiritual child. He will never start a fight, but he will never back down from one, either. He has many friends who are not LDS, but far from letting that influence him, I have heard him bear his testimony to them in no uncertain terms.
My children seem to be the only ones who love me unconditionally. Even when they get mad and tell me they don't love me!

Aww I love that verse, it used to be over my daughters bed when she was very small.

My children continually are a blessing- I see their love for the Lord, and their conviction and want to please others and God, which just makes me very proud of them and thankful to God of course, because I pray daily that they would walk in His ways.
They are loving, and thoughtful and my daughter is the best helper! I do not know what I would do without her! My sons are very cuddly and affectionate--which always makes me stop and realize they will not be this little forever! I do not deserve my children, they are wonderful and even when they do wrong, and we have hard days, I know they want to do what is right, and to see that, and know that they truly do want to follow the Lord is just amazing. Sometimes too, my children will say something to remind me of my actions, and I need to always remember they are always looking at us and what we do! They are so honest! I love that---they speak their minds. So my walk with God has definately been blessed! And I am very thankful for my kids. I love em!!

Matthew 18:3
And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:4
Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed? I could easily go the other direction, but blessed? That'll take a while.

I only have one daughter, but she is my joy, and my life, I cannot think of life without her, because I was always told I would never be a Mother. Now not only do I have a daughter, but a beautiful Granddaughter. And I think God every day for them both.
