I think people get frustrated with dieting because they do not lose weight quickly.Keep in mind the weight gain happened over time.Weight loss should be by a slow and steady rate. You should see your doctor to give you a nutritional program and suggested exercises. I would suggest that you don't weigh yourself daily, maybe every 2 weeks. You will only be more discouraged if you think you aren't taking off the pounds.Do not fall for fad diets since you will probably fail in your quest. Keep in mind that fitness is not just temporary thing it will require lifestyle changes and discipline on your part. You will be more motivated to succeed if you are doing this for you. Remember, one day at a time.Good luck.

Try eating 1200 cals a day instead. But 10 lbs in 3mos. is great to me!! Remember--weight taken off gradually is weight that stays off -- if you lose it too fast you usually gain it back and sometimes even more than you weighed before. Good luck!

work out once a day, lift just as often as cardio, as you lose more weight you have to workout harder to keep losing, also have a diverse regimen of exercises, dont do the same stuff every week.
