I am losing my faith in humanity because of some of the things people are saying on here today. It doesn't usually get to me. Are people being worse than usual today or am I just being affected by the yucky overcast rainy weather?

The Revolution will have to replace you with a more festive minister of festivities. There are still plenty of really cool people around. Let the @$$holes ruin their own day, not yours. Peace be with you

It's a disturbing place to be sure by all the divisive, unkind speech that gets bandied about in here on a regular basis. Perception is much of the issue, so I just try to remind myself that people are the way they are due to their own causes and conditions and I can either let them drag me under or create my own "sunshine". Overcast rainy weather can have a positive upside to it too.

So... (((hugs))) hang in there.

I cannot tell you the number of times I've wanted to just not come back to this site. But once in a while someone does come along with a real question that I feel I can answer. So I keep coming back. I got upset and posted a question today about people who make up stories (lies) to make Christians look bad and just as I thought, I set myself up! I wish that they would find another source of entertainment. We are having a beautiful warm sunny day where I live today I love God's green earth! I am going outside for a breath of fresh air! Try not to let them get you down that would make their day! You have yourself a blessed day!

It doesn't seem any worse than usual to me, but then again, I've been around long enough to see this place at its rock-bottom worst. Unless someone is really being a troll and acting more annoying than usual, I just chalk it up to SSDD.

Here's a big ((((HUG)))) for you, and if I could reach through the computer monitor, I'd hand you a cup of hot tea and some cookies to go along with that. I hope you feel better about life and the forum soon.

You're not alone. I'm near enough to half the world away from VA, and I'm feeling it.
I've lived through some rough times, and it's as if the weary feeling never goes away, just waits for another 'event', and out it comes.
I feel saddened and shocked and I don't know what I feel after that.
Curse this oldest of human feelings; empathy.

Hang in there, kiddo, you're not alone.

People are no worse, they are usually that way. The 'usual' in combination with the weather and recent tragedies could be the reason to your mood.

Yeah, it's bringing me down too. I'm glad to live in Australia most days, but even more so today...

I tried to spice it up a bit - intimations of girl-on-girl action and everything! - but I think it just got kinda lost...

Oh well, must be nearly time for bed anyway (pushing 3am).

Hope the day gets better for those for whom it is just beginning. :)

Cheer up. The tragedy yesterday has depressed a lot of people. I agree it's a downer today compared to usual.

*hugz*

Think about something that makes you happy.

People are being about like usual, just bad in different ways. At least it's not snowing, C! =0)
