There's loads of courier services out there!

Try Parcel force on: http://www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw/jum...

Or Fedex on: http://www.fedex.com/gb/account/?link=4...

Or parcels for delivery on: http://www.p4d.co.uk/p4d/.

There are many more if you search the net. Hope this helps!

I've had a couple of bikes posted to me a while back after I bought them on eBay. Once came just as it was, the other had been boxed up in a 'bike box' bought from a bike shop.

Certainly one came by Parcelforce, maybe both and I think I paid about £20 to £25 for shipping.

You're right, it wouldn't be possible to take it to a PO - they'd refer you to the nearest Parcelforce.

A lot of couriers offer a collection service as well, some don't charge extra if you're fairly close to their depot.

It would exceed the max limits for the Royal Mail or Parcel force. Best to use a courier company. There should be loads if you look it up on the web.

I believe parcelforce do although you'd have to check with them. Places on ebay somehow send mountain bikes around the country so you can ask them too

you should take it to bits as much as possible removing wheels pedals handlebars and so on then put in a box with plenty of padding

i would preferably use a courier you can find them in most phone books it would probably work out cheaper to
