My boyfriend has stated that because he is often busy that he isn't going to be able to answer my calls every time I call, & sometimes I know he avoids my calls on purpose. I try not to make a big deal out of it because I know sometimes I want my piece of mind and don't want to be bothered either, but if I turn my phone off after a certain hour at night or if he calls & I don't answer & sometimes when I put my phone on charge the signal doesn't come through so it goes straight to voicemail he makes a big deal out of it. He's always like, "I called you last night but the calls went straight to voicemail." I told him that sometimes when my phone is on the charger the signal doesn't always come through. He thinks that I may be with a guy, just because I'm not answering the phone.
Isn't he being a little unreasonable, sometimes you can't always get to the phone & you can't control cell phone signals. He's come by before when I didn't answer his calls & I'm always home alone.

I guess it depends on howm many times a day you are calling him.
However there is a HUUUUUGE issue of TRUST here that seems to be going around.
For whatever reason he is certainly NOT trusting you.
This could be because of his past relationships or it could be because he is CHEATING. When people are having an affair, they will often accuse the other person just to cover up their own cheating.
I'm not saying this could be happening but it is a possibility and a cause of his untrusting ways.
whatever the reason, you two certainly need to talk about it because without trust there isn't much left in a relationship.

You do realize that you are being a hypocrite right?
You complain that he doesn't answer your calls and then do the same to him. Then you have the gall to call him unreasonable...hope you didn't bite your lip when you said that.
No he is just fine, sometimes he can't answer your calls because he is busy. However you are punishing him by doing the very thing you don't like. You are childish and immature, he needs to dump you and quick.

I think there is an underlying tone here. He has double standards and I hate to say this, but when men start acting crazy about their girl maybe cheating... It's a sign that he may be cheating on you. Especially when he is being so weird about the phone calls. Sorry.

Fair isn't relevant here. He isn't able to trust you if he gets upset when you don't answer your phone and automatically assumes you are with a guy. This is evident in that he EVEN comes over to your house to CHECK.
Let this one go. He has some deep issues to deal with before he can have a healthy relationship.

Grrr.. I have gotten like 3 or 4 violations because the trolls don't like my honest responses to their idiotic questions. Oh and my question got deleted. I asked If we all jumped up at the same time, would it make a fat kid in China fall down? And some girl was like you have a complex and are insecure blah blah blah and then Y!A deleted my question because it was inappropriate. I was just curious!!!

there is no doubt about it he is definitely being unfair. he gave a reason as to why he won't be able to answer his phone all the time, however he won't even acknowledge the fact that there may also be reasons why you can't answer your phone or why you miss a phone call and also he has jealousy issues you better be careful because of you don't have trust then your relationship is destined for failure

Cell phones are the bane of existance. Life was so much easier without them.
It also sounds like your boyfriend is a little of the jealous side. Watch out for that.

its so normal...just like when u get upset.....ppl expect an anwer when thy call a number especially a cell and especially significant others......the only thing is guys have wild immagination.....there has to be a reason for everything....even though there isnt always one.....
i'd tell him it goes both ways...u dont answer some of my calls i dont answer some of urz....difference is...i dont mean to.
i wish i could talk to u some more but i cant figure out how to let ppl e-mail me....

that's a double standard if i've ever heard one. He's trippin'! When he comes at you with not answering your phone ask him about when he's not answering his does that mean he's with another girl too. He's over reacting.

he's being unreasonable, just becos he's doing something bad thats why he thinks u r doing the same thing, he's heaving like he doesnt trust u, just talk to him seriously.
