It's just a crazy day in R&S.
Things like the VA shooting shake everybody up.
A lot of things get said that, on other days, well, cooler heads would prevail.
Probably the best thing I, and maybe a lot of other people, could do is get some sleep or take a walk in the sunshine, or generally get some 'space'.
I don't know. It's me wildly looking for a way to get away.
It's all a bit crazy down here at the moment.
Bear with us, we'll be our old spiteful, niggly selves before too long!
Take it easy.
:)

Yeah... there are too many "crazies" here try to say "Why didn't God stop this?"
Not to sound cold-hearted, but this kind of thing happens at least daily in the Middle East. We in the western world have forgotten that just because we live in a more "advanced" or "civilized" area of the world, that we are not above something like this happening. We should be counting our blessings that we do live a "better" lifestyle that having to live in constant fear of a terrorist attack or suicide bomber.

People get crazy whenever something like this happens. It's best not to get caught up with them. Walk away from the computer for a while and enjoy other activities. Tomorrow there will be another newsflash to keep the hysteria going.

I agree, this should be left alone for a few days while people grieve and matters are sorted out. Frankly, it's a little disrespectful to make this a matter of religion. This is a tragedy, and should be respected as such.

I guess religion and spirituality are ways that people use to make sense of events like this, or at least try to find some sense. And we don't have a "recreational drugs" section.

Yes, I have read much anger last night and today. Much blaming and name calling. In times of trouble we can either fall apart of stand together and go on to healing and helping those who are grieving.

Not sure if it's the day , but I agree - there seems to be many more inappropriate questions (and answers!) than normal.

Some are hurt. Be kind.
Hope can be given in small almost unperceived ways. Give some.
Have a great day:)

I am not going to even get involved in those discussions. I don't think it is right to use a tragedy as an excuse to debate. It isn't just you, i am crazy too.

I'm with ya. I don't get the hysterical tone to some of the questions and answers. It's almost paranoia.
