find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

I agree, detox diets or try yoga as well. There's a quickie diet that works for short term results (but if you're not careful, it may come back) called weight loss 4 idiots. The name sounds stupid, but I lost about 10 lbs is 2 weeks. Like I said, i don't recommend this for long term, just somethign quick if u have somewhere to go to.
P.S. This is off topic, but you replied to my question about a seamstress in PI. Do you have any recommendations? Or someone I can contact? Thanks!
Thanks for the info! By the way, do they have an email address? So I can show them some pictures and get an estimate of the cost (I live in the USA) pero filipina ko XD

You need to watch what you eat and how much of it you eat. I have a 13 yr old stepdaughter and we were talking the other day and she was telling me about how she and her friends walk every where, well that got me thinking about when I was that age and did alot of walking also. BUT once I got my license I did not do that much walking and started to put on weight. That leaves me today fat and lazy, so I hink the best thing I can tell you is walk and don't ever quit it is very good for you and in the long run you will be happier with yourself. Don't be like me and thi nk there is a quick fix cause theres not. Good luck.

heya amanda, the only thing I would suggest for someone under around 18 years old would be a good healthy diet of nutritious foods and physical activity. Get out and play sports, join a club, bike riding, walking, hiking etc. Eat lots of fruits and veggies... stop snacking on bad food like chips, cookies, chocolates, etc.
Good luck to you
