some would say you can`t believe in somthing that doesn`t exsist, some would say you can`t deny the exsistance of god and heaven.some have faith some don`t others dont need proof others do.its all a personal thing and you should never expect others to believe what you do in the way you see it.its called choice.my choice is is that god and heaven do not exsist.if i am wrong when i die then according to the scriptures god will forgive and that he or she will understand.i do believe however that its not the pursuit of everlasting life or the grace of god that you should be doing on earth but try to do good by you actions.it matters not what faith you pescribe to or not (remember the parable of the good samaritan) but how you conduct yourself.being good to others is not a christian virtue its humanitarian.if there is a heavan you`ll find out for sure in time but be prepared as god may not be what you hope for, what if she`s black with a turban speeking in an american accent `cos it sounds cool!!and of course if when you die there is nothing there as i believe then,,, well you`re f******d mate.you may say the more love you make the more love you take i would say the more love you make the more you leave behind to those who matter. i dont hug trees just my wife and stepdaughter

I don't understand why anyone WOULD believe in heaven. I would hate to base my one chance at existence, and possibly not live as fully as I could have, for some non-existent afterlife. I know many have asked me, "Doesn't it make you sad to think that when you die it's all over and this is as good as it gets?" I say in reply, "Hell no! Knowing this is my one shot motivates me to do what I can to make the place a little nicer for those coming after me (because all that I have is on the shoulders of those who came before). My legacy will be informed and motivated by knowing the fact that I have a limited and uncertain amount of time on this earth to do what I can. Furthermore, I think it's sad that many people look at all of the wonder in this world (their "proof" of god) and feel this still isn't good enough and that it should some how be better.

Just my view of things.

The problem with heaven, is: it is a myth created by man; that there is no god or gods, angels or other spirit creatures to have made it as, they were created by man too. The good side of this is there are no devils demons or other wicked spirits; no hell never was. This too is a construct of man.
Look at the sorry world around you, if there were a god, what do you think the world we live in says about that god? I think that if there were a god, of any kind, they would owe the human race a impossibly large apology, don't you?

The belief in anything that has never been witnessed by anyone, is impossible to prove, is far beyond any natural possibility becomes a superstition.
You wonder why ayone would not believe in heaven. Many wonder how it's possible to believe that there is a heaven.

It's pretty simple: there is no evidence of any kind that there is any such thing as "heaven." Same goes for gods of any kind, hell, satan, etc. No evidence. NONE.

Why do you believe in "heaven" even though there's no evidence it's real? Because it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling to think you'll go to someplace wonderful when you die? Simple wishful thinking? Hey, I think that would be nice, too -- but that doesn't make me pretend it's real when there's nothing at all to show that it is. I also wish I had a money tree in my yard -- that would be wonderful, too. But I don't pretend there really is one just because I wish it were true -- wishing doesn't make something real.

Peace.

as an ex atheist i am amazed when christians can't understand why atheists can't possibly believe in God. having been there myself i used to think christians were stupid and god was a load of rubbish, so I never judge people for not htinking the same as I do. Pray for people but don't judge or condemn and don't be surprised if they don't believe what you believe, until you've had an encounter with God as I did or until you've accepted him by faith and committed your life to serving him then it really doesnt make any sense when you look it from a distance ie without that spiritual knowledge nad understanding of God and Jesus Christ.

That's a good question. A lot of people think they are smarter than they really are. They demand proof, and as educated humans who have spend a lot of money on books and years of education they think they have a good understanding of things.

I refuse to believe that I know so much as to come to the conclusion that just because there is no evidence, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I understand there is a lot of hurt in the world right now, and because of this people question whether an actual paradise exists. But it does, I promise you.
yes sir, heaven is real.

It is because some people (are you one of them) believe the dogma of the church (of the religious leaders) whereas many western (most?) people now don't. If you think of heaven as some weird place in the sky (above us) then I reckon you are on a looser.

I believe that my parents and my brother who died a few years ago are in heaven - BUT, my heaven is in my heart and my lost ones will be in my heart and in my thoughts forever.

Because heaven, like Christianity are hypothetical. There is no proof of heaven, just as there is no proof of the Summerland.

There is nothing the matter, it's simply the way things are. Those who wish to believe shall do so, and those who wish not to, will not. Things are as they should be.
