ok me and my bf have been together for anout 1 1/2 months now and i really like him and he says all the time how much he really likes me but he doesnt like showing affection in public and i mean at all i've got him to hold my hand a couple of times but thats it. but when we are alone he is totally different and i can understand that he doesnt want alot of pda because i dont ewither but is there any way that i can at least get him to hold my hand. please help i really like this guy n i know this isnt a big deal but it kinda bugs me

my b/f had the same problem, i talked to him and i realised it was becos of the way he was brought up, but i know he loves me very much. i believe he loves u just try and talk to him.

~I mean maybe he doesn't want to hold hands with you in public because he doesn't want anyone thinking or knowing you two are "dating" or whatever. Or he's embarassed of you for some weird reason?
.I don't know I am just throwing some ideas out there, but it seems strange that is isn't willing to show you some sort of affection when you two are out together? So that is my idea, is that he is either embarassed of you for some weird reason...or he is trying to keep you and him dating on the DL so no one knows?! I would confront him.

~You don't deserve to feel bad, or feel like you are doing something wrong or not doing enough in a relationship. So find out what is up with him and why he's acting so funny about PDA (even if it is just holding hands). You have a right to know...and come on 1 1/2 months, it's not too soon to be showing your affection for each other.

Tell him it bothers you. But understand maybe he finds PDA's gross. Tell him you just want to hold hands in public, couples who are all over each other in public are gross.
Me and my boy have been together for 6 months and all we do in public is hold hands. If we want to be affectionate we hang out in a private place.
