For months now I have been experiencing these severe headaches. The headache always occurs on the same side right above my eye and by the temple. The headache usually lasts several hours and then goes away. Afterwards for a few days the spot that I had the headache is very tender and sore to even touch. Does anyone else suffer from something like this and if so what do you do to help it?

This really needs to be examined by your medical doctor. This could be migraine headaches or something else. It's not normal to have pain upon touch days after the headache. An MRI would be able to give a great deal of information to your doctor about your problem.

You may have a lingering sinus infection. These are not always accompanied by a runny nose but they can cause severe headache behind your eyes and in your orbital area. Your headaches sound odd, though, the way they come and go - I strongly suggest seeing a doctor.

I get headaches quite often but this sounds like you need to see a doctor. Its not good that they are always in the same spot good luck

I have had miagraines for about 15 years and that is what it sounds like you have im on 3 different meds for mine and I still get them Good luck and get to the doctor

Sounds like a migraine, but you do need to get it checked. It can be a sign of something more serious.

Wow, that sounds serious. You should really go to a doctor right away. I believe it's not normal.
