IF I was GUARANTEED a place in heaven ONLY on condition that I died within the next 24 hours, I would have to say YES.

You could not be guaranteed a place in Heaven if you died within the next 24 hours because that means you would either have to take your own life or ask that someone take yours for you.
Both of these commands are a Sin in God's eyes.
Try again.

Here we go! Another hypothetical laugh!

Those who trust in the Lord Jesus Christ are already guaranteed a place in Heaven.
That guarantee does not come with a time slot that we know of. Only The Lord himself knows when that will be. It's up to us to be ready to go when He calls. If we haven't accepted Him as our Saviour, then we don't go to Heaven.
And that's the way it is. You either accept or deny, simple.

No way! I would want to live a long life, it's a gift from God, we shouldn't take it for granted, besides, I could live the rest of my life in a meaningful and respective way, and know that I would end up in Heaven. This is a great question, it really leaves one thinking about it.

Bottom line, I am sure I would risk it and try to make the best of my life and live in hope believing that I would make it to Heaven and trying my best to be a good person, honest, helpful, compassionate, etc. The question could now be though, how do I know what it takes to get to Heaven. lol

Let me think... heaven and an eternity of bliss, or earth and man's inhumanity to man, pain, earthquakes, disease. Hard choice? No. However, homicide bombers given "guarantees of Paradise" by their Moslem masters now know the falsity of that as they experience the flame of judgement for eternity. For Christians, we can say with Paul and his scribe "We are confident, yes, well-pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord" (2 Cor. 5:28, NKJV); "to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labour; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you. And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith, that your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by coming to you again." (Philippians 1:21-25, NKJV).
The verses quoted shows an attitude which basically means we have a desire to be with Christ, but are prepared to remain as long as Jesus desires in order to reach others for Him. And after all, He knows more than I, so why should I despair if I stay alive another four, five or six decades, die in the next six months, or am raptured with all believers within the next two seconds?

Assuming it wasn't coming from the mouth of a preaching retard.... and could actually be confirmed as true....

.... I would stay in my room the entire day and barricade myself in to ensure my absolute safety for 24 hours and make absolutely certain I did NOT end up going to heaven.

The only guarantee of a place in heaven that I know of would be to receive Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. Apart from Him, there is no other way.

There is a time appointed for all man to be born and to die and only God knows when these times are - we don't. The question of going for it doesn't concern me at all as the appointed time for me to die is totally not in my control but in the hands of God. He alone decides!

My answer to your question would therefore be, "Whatever pleases God! and whatever brings God the greatest glory!"

I believed when the Indian government said they would bring a peaceful nation

I believed when the government promised that all education system would be based only on merit and not reservation based

I believed when the government said that people are responsible for a bad government at the centre

I believed when the government promised that it would not burden us with taxes.

I believed my girl friend who found someone else so very attractive and charming....

I believed my friend, until I realized that he had his head corrupted by his girl-friend to separate me and him

all this happenned in 24 - 48 hours.

I have tried and gone through and accepted all the above..

Are you kidding me? I hope to live long enough to watch history play itself out, and things are starting to get interesting.
If I have to go to hell, I'm sure I'll be near the back of the line, and I will have lots of time to watch the Generals, Dictators, Child Molesters (this is mostly the religious sector), Lawyers, and corporate giants, and book keepers and the like - go first. Ha ha ha ha . . .
