'Dr. Strangelove' is mine. A great satire depicting how inept our government is in protecting us from foreign power by thinking the president's control of the military deterrents in our arsenal will prevent aggression. Sounds serious and it is, but a comedy as well.

Peter sellers plays three roles. President, Merkin Muffy (Adlai Stevenson?) - Group Captain Lionel Mandrake (Alec Guinness' character in 'The Bridge on the River Kwai'?) - Dr. Strangelove (A parody of Henry Kissinger as a mad nuclear scientist)

"You can't fight in here! This is the War Room!"

A very fine black comedy indeed.

I go for lighter fare myself, like "Platoon" or "Deer Hunter". Wonderful family entertainment

Anyone which can give both entertainment or some wisdom for life...or documental. I hate just comic and non-logic animated ones or meaningless fighting/killing/swordsmen ones...
I prefer movies ..such as Pretty Woman, Titanic, Mr. Bean, Ghost, Police Story..etc..
than Independence Day, Star Wars..., etc
