It depends on the chicken. I have seen some huge ones. Also it is good to cut off the wing tips so you would get more per pound if this was done first,

Last time I bought a bag of them, it was a 3 pound bag and had about 36 wings. So depending on the size, maybe about 12 in a pound.

About 5 wings per pound, which would give you about 10 sections if you cut them apart and discard the tips. But more or less depending on size.

Be sure to simmer the wing tips in water and save the water for broth. When it cools, pack it and freeze it for soup later on.
