When people who are not christians gain wealth it seems to be okay. If you preach the good news of God and you have wealth you to be beating people out of money.
And why, if you are known to heal it can't be true? What is going on,with people. I don't understand why some people don't believe that God is powerful enough to provide for his people, without having to beat and cheat people. Is he not a big enough God to do these things, and not robb? Well me I am not a pracher but I know that God will supply all of my needs and I don't have to robb any one.

People who aren't christians usually gain wealth through their talents.

TV preachers (and other preachers) gain wealth by fleecing their congregation and the good hearts of people who need help and/or believe their nonsense. That's not right no matter how you paint it.

Not true. If an Atheist is a con man he will be arrested and put in jail just like Jim Baker did.

The difference between wealth gained from hard work and the wealth gained from christian preaching is The person not preaching god is giving the consumer something for their money while the preacher is selling false hope.

I have been to a Benny Hinn revival, sitting very close to the wheelchair section. All those people wanted to be healed, but none were called on. They all rolled away home, after making "love offerings." The baskets sure reached them, even if the healing didn't.

These people get rich by begging for money from others who are low on hope and desperate to try anything. Or else they appeal to hate instead of hope--the gays, the feminists, the secular humanists, the Hollywood elites, whatever the strawperson du jour is, they must be stopped, and you must give us money to do it.

That's why.

Oh, please. There are homeless people I'm sure at one point believed 'God' would provide them with what they needed. Tell the friend or relative of a deceased Christian that some God-believer heals. In fact, I've come across plenty of non-believers who have healed something according to 'alternative' medicine. Nothing to do with God/prayer. People can heal but when they say it's b/c of someone/thing that can't be proven, that's very misleading.

Jesus made nule and void the 10% tithing. It is written in the Bible. Preacher today as did Paul are to work six day's a week to provide for themselves, family and others, and preach and teach on the sabbath. T.V. Preacher for the most part do not teach about gospel. They tell you if you will plant a money seed to them, God will make you rich. They are crooks.

People are often tossed up on this matter, since the Bible says to shun gluttony and greed; two of the seven deadly sins. Most people would agree that if you are at the head of a church, and are at least moderately wealthy, then, as the Bible states, share the wealth. Donate to your wealth to the congregation instead of hoarding it for yourself. Give to those who do not have.

It seems that a real preacher of God would have better things to spend donations on than expensive clothes, homes and cars. They are not supposed to be in it for their own personal gain.

May God Bless you.

Jesus specifically told his disciples to go forth into the world, but to bring only a staff. By being wealthy, they are showing reliance on material goods, and not Jesus' blessings.

If they are wealthy, it's obvious their needs have been over met, and they should be sending everything extra for good works.

A good example is Benny Hinn. I have NEVER READ about Christ slapping or hitting someone to Save them. All that was done by His shed blood on Calvary is all that is required for Salvation, BUT you have to ask for forgiveness and Repent of your sins.

They dont believe what you believe and want to use it as fuel to put you down. I used to be a part of that crowd, but no more. I was a "Saul" once, and like him I was shown something better and greater. I was a "Thomas" once as well, and like him wanted proof and it was shown to me. If someone like me could be changed, then anyone can. Those who do not agree with you will use anything and everything to put you down, it's the way of the world. It hates us, because we aren't a part of it.
