good question...or rather statement, but that explains why some of god's chosen people committed adultery, murder, and so on...i suppose i could say that god doesn't give u more than u can handle, but if u choose to handle it the wrong way, then u may end up doing all the things we've mentioned. god never says u'll be able to handle it, he only says he won't give u more than u can handle, and through him u will handle it. that sounds confusing...but i hope u get what I'm trying to say.

You are speaking of physiological abnormalities. The body is separate from the soul. My mother had Alzheimer's and I would look at her and see that soul trapped in that mentally ill body. Terry Shaivo was another case of a trapped soul. I consider it a blessing when the body dies, in those cases, and the soul is released.
We are here for a reason. We came here knowing and having chosen most of the experiences in our lives, good and bad. After the body dies and we cross over, it will all make sense. Then you will realize what you learned from what you experienced.

i for my area will no longer be able to respond to that query, different than to assert that God facilitates specific issues to ensue to human beings and it is not meant for us to correctly known why. no person ever promised that existence grew to become into going to be straight forward and without discomfort. it incredibly is merely how that's. yet i understand that I even have been down in the previous and had it no longer been for God observing over me i could have been long previous from this earth a protracted time in the past. i will comprehend why its so no longer straight forward to have faith in God once you seem at each and everything around you. yet HE does exist and loves one and all human beings. How else are an excellent form of those human beings waiting to disclaim and curse him and nonetheless be strolling this earth?

I already gave my answer to this under the other topic heading, but here it is again for others to see (if they wish):
Please, read in context. God doesn't give us more than we can handle in regards to temptation - as with someone trying to avoid adultery even though they desire to, or someone who wants to punch someone's lights out in anger, even though they know they shouldn't.
Life is hard. The Bible makes no promise regarding an easy life.
For some, its terribly hard. But you know what? I know of a young man who has cerebral palsy. He will die in about 2 years. But he has faith surpassing that of his parents or most anyone I know. Yes, he's in pain and yes, he feels sad. And yes, it doesn't seem fair. But he has hope.
God gives hope to the hopeless.
And about you saying we don't get what we deserve. This generation believes it "deserves" so much. What do we deserve? People who betray, hurt, lie, steal and hate? We deserve nothing.
That's why grace, love without bounds, love without "deserving" is so beautiful. We don't deserve a thing, despite what people think. But God loves us anyway.

I'm sorry you feel that way! You are missing out on promises of hope and grace that God has given everyone.
My sister always likes to say, "If He can bring you to it, He can bring you through it." After the Fall humans are unfortunately subjected to all the evils that we were once shielded from. But God's mercy gives us the strength to overcome all obstacles if we call His name.

You are missing FREE WILL. We are all in our current situations because that is what we chose. God doesn't give us our life choices, we choose them. The way we live our life is a manifestation of how we lived in our past lives. It is called karma. If you think about it, karma is the only thing that explains what you have described.

God sometimes gives you things that you cant handle because he wants to learn from them. My mom was in the ward at one point, but she is perfectly fine now. Yea some people are so doped up in the wards that they cant think for themselves, they have to have other people to think for them. God desnt want u to fail in life, he jsut wants to make sure that you come to ur own conclusions about it.

That's an interesting take on that statement, although alone it does not prove or disprove the existance of God. Thank you for sharing. Next time, please ask a REAL question to go along with your point of view.

Exactly- god exists, but nowhere in the sense he is portrayed.
He might as well be nonexistant, but the loving perfect provider pisses me off..
If it is true, then what about innocent children kidnapped and raped and killed?
Oh yes, you can handle that..
