I don't believe that.
My brother was the middle, and he is the most succesful of us all. He is also the most family oriented.
Most people I know that have three children, I find it either the youngest or oldest

I don't know actually good question because my brother is the ONLY boy and the on e in the middle ans he have being always a trouble boy and I have a son who is also in the middle of 2 girls and he is most of the times a trouble boy ...... I guess they just feel that they have to call the parents attention one way or another and making trouble will be a way to reveal and pay more attention to them than to the other kids !!!

The first child gets a lot of attention in the early years because there is no competition. The second child then gets the baby status. Then, some little interloper gets born and steals the baby status away but the second child still has a big brother or sister who gets to do everything because they're older. It's no fair.

That is really a myth. But sometimes the middle child doesn't feel as special because they aren't the oldest or the baby, so they act out to get attention.

I have 3 kids and the middle one is always mad because the oldest one is always doing something and she can't, then she's mad because the youngest one gets more attention from their dad. She's also one of those if you give her something that just came out today she would want it yesterday. She's not difficult to control, she's just a drama queen. My sister is a middle child and there have always been more problems with her than with me or our brother. She has more problems than we do...she has very low self-esteem and sells herself short all the time.

Usually the middle child feels left out as the oldest and youngest get more attention paid to them. I was a middle child and that was how I felt.

I think we spoil the first one
The second one then gets Jealous
The Third one gets spoilt again because we dont want them to turn out like the second one.
Does that make any sense?
